process

The Kransky is a type of meat sausage. It is the Oceanic version of the authentic North Slovenian dish – the kranjska klobasa. Pastoral's kransky is different - it is made with 100% pork leg meat (not offal and other bits and pieces) and is not loaded with artificial colours, flavours or fillers.

In fact, Pastoral's Kransky is the most natural and allergen free Kransky Australia has on offer. Naturally beechwood smoked this delicacy is from Pastoral's 120 year old traditional recipe.

A selection of fresh herbs and spices are blended with the fresh pork trim that we produce daily from our fresh leg production (fresh trim from the pork leg is the most desirable meat used for this type of product). The blended meat is coarsely chopped and filled into a collagen casing. It is then cooked and smoked to further enhance its flavour and appearance.

shelf life

Eight weeks provided the vacuum packed pouch is kept intact and the product is stored under 5°C. Once opened, product should be consumed within five days.

This is a fully cooked product which can be consumed either hot or cold.
