Fresh beef topside is firstly trimmed of fat to improve appearance and the health aspect. It is placed in an elastic net to maintain an even shape, thus ensuring that the cooking process stays consistent. The product is later dipped into our selected spices and placed into a hot oven where it remains until the correct temperature is reached for optimum rareness. The finished rare roast beef is immediately taken out and refrigerated to prevent any latent heat from further cooking and to maintain maximum shelf life.
Six weeks provided the packaging is intact and the product is kept below 5°C. Once opened, the product should be consumed within five days..
This is a fully cooked product which is traditionally served as a sliced cold meat.
